There are so many stories I could share, so many of which bring a smile to my face and a tear to my eye. You were always there with a hug, a strong cuppa or a glass of prosecco.

Can you remember the tequila slammers we did on top of the TV, the endless Jagerbombs at my wedding and all the cocktails Nottingham had to offer?! It wasn't all booze though! The trips to the soft play (you know the one in Milton Keynes at the roller skating place), and the day you saved me from having to be quiet on holiday in Menorca because Kathryn had - yet another - ear infection.

You dragged me on ENDLESS shopping trips - you must have known how much I loved you because you knew how much I hated shopping! There was one shopping trip that I will never forget... Who gets a camel toe in a dress?!

You made the best cakes, the best scones and the best roast potatoes.

You made Jason and Lucas feel like part of the furniture, your kindness, generosity and welcome will stay with them forever.

I feel so lucky to have known you, loved you and laughed with you, I am so grateful that Francesca got to meet you and feel your warmth.

I miss you terribly, there will forever be a space where you should be. I will look for you in the roses that grow and the Robins that visit and everytime there's a Jagerbomb or a sale to be had!
